Flashback 2023
Flashback Herefordshire 2023 – you will regret it if you were not with us!
For all those who haven’t been to our last grower meeting : here is a glimpse of what happened in beautiful Herefordshire last year. For all those who came : do you remember?
Farm visits
Our host: Whittern Farms
James Wright, farm manager at Whittern Farm, showed the conference delegates how blackcurrant growing is handled on an LRS affiliated farm. We had the pleasure to see a nice range of machinery from NP Seymour, Pattenden, KRM and more.

Producing, Processing, Selling: Pixley Berries
Pixley Berries grows blackcurrants, but also transforms them into various drinks. We had a visit through the plantations with a display of current farm machinery. But we could also see the processing and packing facility together with a tasting of an amazing product range.

The IQF specialists: Windmill Hills
Day 2 gave us an insight on organic and conventional plantations on Windmill Hill Fruits. Anthony Snell also gave explanations on his IQF plant and showed us his SFM harvester, necessary for picking blackcurrants destined for IQF processing.
